What does it mean that Tip Toes is a Czech–British school?
Tip Toes connects the Czech and British education systems – we combine the Czech Framework Educational Programmes with elements of the British curriculum. Teaching takes place in both Czech and English using methods that support natural acquisition of both languages.
From what age do you accept children?
Our preschools accept children from the age of 2. Primary school typically starts in Year 1, but transfers into higher year groups are possible, subject to each campus’s capacity.
Do you really teach in English every day?
Yes. In every class, children are in daily contact with a native speaker and naturally use English across subjects as well as in everyday communication.
How big are the classes?
Classes are small – usually up to 15 pupils. This allows us to provide individual attention to every child.
Do you prepare children for mainstream Czech schools as well?
Yes, pupils are fully prepared to continue in the Czech system, including selective grammar schools, bilingual schools or international institutions. We teach in line with the Czech framework while developing language competencies according to British standards.
Is there a pathway from Preschool to Primary at Tip Toes?
Yes. Children from our preschools can move smoothly into Year 1 at Tip Toes Primary. The programmes are connected and respect the child’s developmental needs.
